Overall Run Falls

Overall Run Falls is actually two drops, the upper almost 30 feet but the lower at 93 feet is the highest in the Shenandoah National Park. Both are accessed via the same trail, an excellent description of which is viewable at Antony Heatwole's web site (after you bring up the page scroll down to, or search for, 'Mile 21.1, A.T. Crossing').

The parking area from which you access the Overall Run Falls is at milepost 22.2. See Anthony Heatwole's website (referenced above) for directions.

The National Park Service has, thoughtfully, included an excellent map of the Park which includes these features and trails. It is in .pdf format. If you don't have Adobe Reader you should download it now; it is FREE! The download link is on the Adobe web site.
