Visitors' Center - From I-81 take exit 264. If northbound, turn right; if southbound, turn left. Go eastbound on US-211 to US-11 (2 blocks from the northbound exit ramp) and turn left. Follow US-11 (Congress Street) to Dixie Lane (4 blocks) and turn right. The New Market Area Chamber of Commerce is at the next corner (at John Sevier Road).

Endless Caverns - "Discovered in 1879, Endless Caverns has been explored and mapped but no end to the many caverns has yet been found. A beautiful, nicely illuminated underground attraction well worth the visit.
  Located on the side of the Massanutten Mountain, overlooking Virginia's scenic Shenandoah Valley, "Endless Caverns is as beautiful above ground as it is below!"

  March 15 through June 14 from 9a to 5p.
  June 15 through Labor Day from 9a to 6p. 
  After Labor Day through November 14 from 9a to 5p. 
  November 15 through March 14 from 9a to 4p.

  Located about 3 miles south of New Market. From I-81, take exits 257 or 264 and just follow the signs.

Meems Bottom (covered) Bridge - Just 4 miles north of New Market of US-11 is the longest remaining covered bridge in Virginia. Constructed ca 1892 by Franklin H. Wissler to provide a more convenient access to his apple orchards and Strathmore Farm, it was designed with strict attention to proper drainage of rain and surface water and topped it with a roof. It also is noted for its 191 foot span. Torched by vandals as a Halloween prank, it was rebuilt and still is service as a highway bridge. The bridge is on the National Historic Register.
  From I-81 take exit 269. If northbound, turn right; if southbound, turn left. Drive to the end of Hwy 730 and turn left on US-11. Drive north to Hwy-720 and turn left. The bridge is straight ahead (crossing the North Fork of the Shenandoah River).

New Market Battlefield Historical Park & Hall of Valor - This three-hundred acre Historical Park, which includes the 19th Century Bushong Farm and the Hall of Valor Civil War Museum, memorializes a "unique moment in American history". 257 cadets from from the Virginia Military Institute left their classrooms to assist in the pitched battle here near New Market, helping the Confederate troops win a victory for the Confederacy.

  Take Exit 264 off I-81 onto Rt. 211 West. Take immediate right onto Rt. 305 (George Collins Parkway). You will see the Park Visitor Contact Station immediately to your left. 

Shenville Creamery and Garden Market - "Bring the whole family. Stroll through the gardens. Have the Deli pack you a picnic to enjoy by the farm pond. Introduce your kids to a calf or a piglet or a baby goat. Watch the Creamery in production. Spend an hour – Spend the day!"
  50 acres of gardens planted along the banks of Virginia’s famous Shenandoah River. The season begins in April when the first asparagus spears emerge, and continues through late fall when the last giant pumpkin is harvested. They also have an 'on-farm' bakery featuring homemade breads, cookies and many other fresh baked treats.

  From I-81 northbound, take exit 264, go West on U.S. 211 one mile. Turn right onto Plains Mill Road. Cross the Shenandoah River, Shenville is 3.2 miles on the left.
  From I-81 southbound, take exit 257, turn left onto US11, then right at the light onto VA259 to Timberville. In Timberville, cross railroad tracks, turn right onto Church Street. Shenville Creamery is 1.2 miles on the right.
