Boardwalk Amusement Area
Exciting arcades, tasty snacks and a wide variety of souvenirs are waiting for you on the famous Daytona Beach Boardwalk. In the arcades you'll find the latest in video games, and skill games. You'll also find go-kart rides and, if you're after the big thrill, there's the "Skycoaster" and the human sling shot.

Jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean for about a  quarter-mile is the Ocean Pier. Fishing, here, is a popular past-time. You'll also find restaurants plus the gondola skyride and "Space Needle" (which offer spectacular views of the beach and ocean).

Also on the Boardwalk are 30 granite plaques which commemorate the Daytona's world famous motorsports history.

The museum houses exhibits which are changed every month. The gardens feature tropical plants with fish ponds, fountains and nature trails.

Protecting this ships from hazards along the local coast for over a century, this 175-foot lighthouse is the second tallest lighthouse in the USA. (It's a 203-step climb to the top.) The museum features a rare Fresnel Lens exhibit and a gift shop.
