California Waterfalls

California is not only a large state but is blessed with several significant mountain ranges. Needless to say, they are hosts to many spectacular falls. Many of them (if not most) require fairly strenuous hiking to reach them. Of course there is the world-famous Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park - over crowded and expensive. There has been so much written about Yosemite that we will not include those magnificent falls here - at least not at first. We will spend our time and effort bring you other waterfalls which are more accessible and every bit as rewarding.
   Our favorites of all the California waterfalls are Grizzly Falls and Roaring River Falls in Kings Canyon - which is deeper than the Grand Canyon and, in the opinion of John Muir, more beautiful than Yosemite Canyon.
