Bricktown
Oklahoma City, OK

Bricktown is Oklahoma City's new entertainment and dining district. Dozens of restaurants, shops of all kinds and a lot of early 20th Century flavor.

Getting around couldn't be easier. There is the new Oklahoma Spirit trolley system serving Bricktown and Downtown, - fare is just a quarter. In the summer, 'Pedicabs' and horse-drawn carriages carry clients within the Bricktown area.

A mile-long pedestrian canal through Bricktown, turning south at the Ballpark, passes under the highway to a waterfall-and-forested park area. Water taxis ply the waters, and there are many canal-side restaurants with more under construction. We've got several public art projects that have also been completed.

Bricktown Canal, a mile-long pedestrian waterway, that cuts through the heart of Bricktown, makes a sharp turn at the new Ballpark and leads past waterfalls and fountains to a beautiful park. There is even a special Dancing Fountains display next to the police station at the west end of the canal. For those who would rather ride than walk, Bricktown's Water Taxis take you to one end of the canal, turn around, take you to the other end and then back to the dock. A special, virtual tour can be viewed to whet your appetite with a few of the sights you will see:
