The Cascade River tumbles over a series of steps forming a series of waterfalls and cascades in its final rush to Lake Superior. 

Many trails on both sides of the Cascade River - including several footbridges - afford visitors many great views of the river's display.

How to get there:

Cascade River State Park is on Hwy- 61 (about 100 miles from Duluth) 8 miles northeast of Lutsen or 10 miles southwest of Grand Marais.
