Ganoga Falls
(and the 21 other 'named' waterfalls of Ricketts Glen)
Red Rock PA

The 95-foot Ganoga Falls is just one of many waterfalls and cascades rumbling down the deep gorges in the Glens Natural Area of the park. This is wild and rugged country, - lots of rocks (and very slippery in some places). The trails really are not as much of a challenge as reputed as long as you take it slow and allow yourself plenty of time. The rewards are well worth it and it doesn't matter where you go... it is beautiful everywhere. There is one very special place, however, called "where waters meet". It is the conjunction of the the Canoga Glen branch of Kitchen Creek tears in from the west joining the Glen Leigh Branch in the deepest, narrowest point of the Natural Area. Kitchen Creek, now significantly reinforced, tumbles on its way toward Hwy-118 and Kitchen Creek Falls (viewable from the road). Stop by the Park Rangers Office near the entrance for trail map and information.

From I-80, take exit 35* and follow PA-487 north, through Red Rock (watch the signs) and another 4½ miles up the hill to the entrance of Ricketts Glen State Park (it will be on your right).

*Note: Pennsylvania has renumbered the exits to match the 'mile posts' and we have not been there since the change. This is the eastmost Bloomsburg exit.
