Mill Creek Falls

The 175 foot Mill Creek Falls spews out intop the Rogue River Canyon like a hole punched in a giant dyke. Mill Creek makes no apologies especially from late Winter through early Summer. and. You view Mill Creek Falls from the rim of the Rogue River Canyon across from the falls so you really get an excellent view.

How to get there:

From Crater Lake National Park:
Exit the park via the southern entrance and turn right on Hwy 62 (the road to Medford). Go about 34 miles to Mill Creek Road (there is a very visible sign and a sign pointing to the community of Prospect). You'll see the wide spot in the road (also signed) at the trailhead to Mill Creek Falls and Barr Creek Falls.

From Interstate 5:
Take exit 30 of I-5 in Medford and head toward Crater Lake National Park (plenty of signs!). After about 38 miles you'll see Mill Creek Road (signed plus a sign pointing to the community of Prospect). About 5 miles up this road you'll see the wide spot in the road (also signed) marking the trailhead to Mills Creek Falls.

The trail is a very easy, 0.5 mile to the rim of the Rogue River Canyon opposite the waterfall. It is a good vantage point for a great sight.
