Rainbow Falls, another instance of a huge torrent of water gushing out of a sheer rock wall (at least in the Spring when the snows are melting), is a contract of the beauty of nature and the damage unthinking humans. The area is literally covered with graffiti. But ignore it and enjoy the falls.

From downtown Manitou Springs, follow Manitou Avenue (northwest) to the junction of Hwy-24. Follow 24 (the right-hand fork) to the falls (at a very sharp hair-pin turn. The bridge goes right over the waterfall so it is easy to miss.
